The Suffolk coastline is famous for many things, drama being one of them. Dickens wrote about ship-wrecking storms off the coast of Suffolk in David Copperfield, and places like Dunwich are constant testament to the power of the North Sea.
The drama of the Suffolk Coastline doesn’t only stem from the violence of the sea; Suffolk is also a county of dramatic skies. We have put together this gallery to showcase the brilliant work of Suffolk photographers, and celebrate their skill in capturing the striking Suffolk coastline.
Unlike some other counties Suffolk doesn’t have a lot of roads that go anywhere near the shoreline. So if you want to experience the Suffolk Coast for yourself we recommend you follow the Suffolk coast path. The coast path is around 80 miles long and takes walkers to places and the views that cars simply can’t reach. Find out more here…
